An honest bourgeois from Namur, Paul notices that a homeless person has moved in just below his window and doesn’t move, day after day. He finds it very educational for his children and shares the experience with his friends Georges and Virginie, whom he meets regularly in a chic café. 

 

  • Relying on fine and scathing dialogues, and the whimsical performances of his well-dressed actors (Jean-Philippe Lejeune and François Maniquet…), the director gives us an autopsy of the inconsistencies and disconnection from this world of privilege (…) Finally, Xavier Diskeuve’s work is philosophical without leaving its comic mould.
