What do we do with our family secrets? In this short documentary, I revisit memories of my childhood, created around a family secret of which I only heard fragments, then decide to make a trip to the Vendée to find out what really happened to my grandfather René and his sister Adèle, children of public assistance, and their mother Julia, domestic worker in Paris in the 1900s, who abandoned them.
