1994. On the verge of abandoning his dream of becoming a filmmaker, Ricardo is chosen to participate in the show “La course”, a competition sending eight budding globetrotters to discover the world and send one video a week on a topic of their choice. When he landed in Cairo, Egypt, all the conditions and bad luck were unfortunately in place to give Ricardo a hard time. Looking for a subject for a video that he had to deliver in record time, the young man decided to get out of his comfort zone, and this time to offer a report on a much more serious and delicate issue.
