2025 Grand Public Festival

Cinéfranco prepares for the 2025 Grand Public Festival

Cinéfranco is delighted to announce that preparations are in full swing for the Grand Public Festival, returning to the Carlton Cinema from November 7 to 16, 2025. This year’s theme, Faces of Humanity, is coming to life through the film links sent by distributors from France, Switzerland, Belgium, Quebec, Ontario and other countries and regions. Expect works from celebrated filmmakers such as Cédric Klapisch and Léa Pool—plus a special section we’re keeping under wraps for now… shhh!

Spotlight on Canadian Francophone Filmmakers

RACCORD (Regroupement des artistes cinéastes de la francophonie canadienne) is gearing up for its second festival, featuring an exciting variety of films and series in diverse formats and themes. This November, Cinéfranco will dedicate several screenings to RACCORD’s talented directors, whose work will inspire, move, amuse, and even give you chills.

The rich partnership with La Tournée Québec Cinéma will blow us away with prestigious choices as usual.

Special Program Launch Event

To thank our loyal audience, Cinéfranco will host an exclusive program unveiling at the beginning of October ahead of the festival. The event will feature a short presentation of the selected films, followed by a free screening of one of the titles from this year’s lineup. More details will be revealed soon!
