Cécile Robertson

I am delighted to introduce my co-director of the youth festival, Cécile Robertson, whose career in teaching French in all its forms is impressive and resounding with creativity.

Welcome to Cinefranco Youth Festival 2025

The protection of the forest animals and humans’ habitat is at the heart of two animations celebrated by the prestigious Annecy International Animation Film Festival: Savages by Claude Barras and Into the Wonderwoods by Vincent Paronnaud and Alexis Decord.

Animals and the love they inspire are the endearing and captivating subjects of the films Ride Above (Christian Duguay) or Princes of the Desert (Éric Barbier), not to mention the very funny comedy Chien et chat (Reem Kherici).

Whether it is the dazzling destiny of the Ziouani sisters (Divertimento), the hardships caused by bullying at school, social prejudices and family difficulties (All Stirred Up! The fantastic Three, Blue Sky Joe, Dreaming in Neon), the selected films distil inspiring messages for young audiences.

Inspiring, improving the knowledge and practice of the French language, learning about the cultural habits of a French-speaking country, debating and thinking are put into practice by pedagogical and classification files that open up the horizons for wider discoveries with the help of teachers.

Enjoy!
Cécile and Marcelle
