Well past her 90th birthday, Imelda Turcotte-Villeneuve (Martin Villeneuve) isn’t done yet and refuses to fade away. Scathing, provocative and uncontrollable, she carries on her crusade against propriety, religion and death. Inspired by true events, Imelda Strikes Back reunites the indomitable heroine of The 12 Tasks of Imelda (2022) in a new fight to exist: turning humiliation into resistance, scandal into truth, and the silence imposed on her into freedom.
