On screen: Peruvian cinema, between flavours and stories
Mistura is a Peruvian historical melodrama (2024) directed by Ricardo de Montreuil, telling the story of a privileged Franco‑Peruvian woman whose life collapses and who rebuilds herself through a true culinary journey by opening a restaurant in Lima.
Blending melodrama, intimate portraits and a celebration of Peruvian gastronomy, the film opens wide the door to a rich, warm and resilient culture.
