Colette, a film professor specializing in the work of Alfred Hitchcock, suspects her new neighbour across the way, Yann Kerbec, of having killed his wife. Reality or professional bias? Her husband François, a writer of somewhat old-fashioned historical detective novels, is at first skeptical of Colette’s obsession with this alleged crime. He nevertheless gets drawn into the far-fetched investigation, and as clues pile up and the mystery deepens, this ordinary couple turns into an outstanding detective duo. So, was there really a crime on the 3rd floor?
