Ilyes leads a happy life in a working-class neighbourhood of Roubaix. His only problem: the baccalauréat exam. Having already failed it twice, this is his last chance to pass and finally make his parents proud. But a fire breaks out during the mock exam, and he is accused of starting it… Expelled from his school, he must leave his neighbourhood for the only institution willing to take him: the Albert-le-Grand Catholic boarding school in Chablis, Burgundy.
