Joseph, a young French immigrant living in the Yukon, learns that his father, who stayed behind in France, has cancer. Faced with the geographic and emotional distance that has separated them for years, he must confront family estrangement, unspoken words, and the urgency of reconciliation. Inspired by the director’s own experience, this short film explores grief from afar and family bonds tested by immigration.
