Clémence, a young girl and Rroû, her tabby kitty, leave Paris for the holidays. Arriving in the countryside, Rroû discovers freedom and nature, but also the dangers of life far from the city. During his wonders, Rroû meets Câline, a white kitten who soon becomes his friend, but also a lynx prowling in the woods. Rroû starts enjoying this wildlife. And while Clémence must return to Paris, Rroû will have to choose.

  • Shot over four seasons, the film constantly places the viewer at the level of the little feline to share his adventures with us from his point of view, which is totally bluffing for all viewers from 7 to 97 years old.

  • The beauty of nature, the turnover of the seasons, a double coming-of-age novel (that of Clémence and the cat), the irruption of Corinne Masiero as a gruff alter-globalization hermit, Maidatchevsky films this little adventure film at feline level, in an expected but faithful way, with one idea in mind: to show the free will and ingenuity of those who are a little stupidly called “beasts“.

  • Thanks to the observant tenderness of director Guillaume Maidatchevsky (Aïlo, an odyssey in Lapland), this coming-of-age story, from the big city to the forest, speaks beautifully of the need to grow (but also to let it grow), whether you are feline or human
